While researching poverty, I encountered a vile report from the Heritage Foundation.
The Heritage Foundation uses the reality that many poor people have computers, microwaves, and televisions to ridicule the suffering of America’s poor.
I bought my computer in 2012–long before I knew finding work would be so difficult. The power supply died a few weeks ago. At least I have my mom’s. Sometimes, the keys stop working. A restart fixes that problem. I use my computer every day and hope it doesn’t stop working.
I got my iPhone in 2014. The case that was once waterproof is full of holes and the home button doesn’t always work. My iPhone won’t last much longer. Will it last until I can replace it?
I have a computer, cell phone, and microwave. Last week, Ufi required an unexpected trip to the vet. This week, I’m wondering how long before I have to start asking people for loans I can’t begin to think about repaying.
I have a computer, cell phone, and microwave. Last night, I went to the grocery store and picked up a couple of frozen pizzas. My SNAP card doesn’t refill until next month.
I have a computer, cell phone, and microwave. Last week, I used my computer and cell phone to apply for jobs I haven’t yet gotten.
I have a computer, cell phone, and microwave. I am one of the roughly 70 million Americans living in poverty.
I have a computer, cell phone, and microwave. I will someday escape poverty.
I have a computer, cell phone, and microwave. When I escape poverty, I’ll never forget having been poor.
I have a computer, cell phone, and microwave. The heritage Foundation won’t make me feel bad for having a computer, cell phone, and microwave.
If u don’t have a computer how are u going to get a job?
The company’s don’t want you to go to there place of Business to fill out an application. It’s all done online.
The heritage foundation, is probably one of them. Maybe people that live in the area where the heritage foundation in located, should all show up at their door, looking for a job. Bet they would change their minds about how these things are A lecture and not necessary.
The Heritage Foundation is a conservative organization.
