The New York Times has published an anonymous Op-Ed from a “senior member” of the Trump administration. The piece is extremely critical of Trump; it all but calls him unfit for office and incompetent.
The writer of this Op-Ed is a coward. The fact that they are telling the truth about Trump’s failings doesn’t excuse their cowardice. Since the writer acknowledges Trump is terrible for America, the writer should stand by the truth.
Instead of submitting an anonymous Op-Ed, the writer should have held a press conference and told the public the truth. All of the writers friends should have joined the party. If these people really cared more about America than the Republican Party, they would stand by their words. By failing to demonstrate true courage, they have made it easier for Trump to deny their charges.
