In Home, Harlan Coben reunites fans with the beloved characters of Myron Bolitar and his enigmatic friend, Win Lockwood. The novel begins with a startling revelation: a boy, Patrick Moore, who went missing ten years ago with his friend Rhys Baldwin, has been found. Win receives a tip about Patrick’s whereabouts and seeks Myron’s help to unravel the mystery.

As they dig deeper, Myron and Win discover that Patrick’s reappearance is far from straightforward. The boys’ abduction has ties to dangerous criminals and hidden family secrets. Patrick struggles to recall what happened, and questions arise about Rhys, who is still missing. The investigation leads them into the world of human trafficking and powerful individuals willing to do anything to keep their secrets hidden.

Win’s unflinching loyalty to his family and Myron’s relentless pursuit of justice drive the plot. The story balances gripping suspense with emotional depth, particularly as it explores themes of family, redemption, and the lengths people will go to protect their loved ones.

The book delivers a satisfying twist, revealing the shocking truth behind the boys’ kidnapping and their families’ roles in the events. As always, Coben weaves a tale filled with moral complexity and thrilling surprises.

MY Thoughts

The Miron Bolitar series is fast becoming my favorite books series of all time. Home only increased my love of the series.

As always, Coben did a great job developing the characters and story. There is, for now, only one book left in the series for me to read. I will be disappointed when I have finished.

AOnce again, Home left me guessing. I had no idea how the story would end. That being said, the absolute ending of the story really surprised me and left me wondering if Coben will further develop what happened at the end in future stories. That’s especially true because I really like Win as a character and want to learn more about him.

The moral questions the characters must face also kept me glued to the story.

If you enjoy suspense, you will love the Miron Bolitar series!

I'd love to hear from you.
