It’s Ufi’s Turn to be Sick

Less than a week ago we got the good news that Mr. Rogers doesn’t have cancer. Now, we are worried about Ufi’s liver.

Mr. Rogers Update

Mr. Rogers had his left eye removed yesterday. Going into the surgery, we were hopeful his long-term eye problem had become glaucoma and removing the eye would make him better. The vet believes there is an 80 percent chance Mr. Rogers has cancer.

Reviewing Pandemic

Robin Cook’s Pandemic is the 11th book in the Jack Stapleton & Laurie Montgomery series. I didn’t know it was part of a series until I started reading. Even though the ending of Pandemic was disappointing, I liked the characters and story. So, I’m going to the beginning of the series.

Redlining Explained

With Facebook in trouble for allowing people to exclude potential renters based on race, redlining has been in the news lately. So, I thought it would be good to remind everyone of what redlining is and of ow it was critical to the federal government’s efforts to segregate America.

Reviewing the Keepsake

Tess Gerritsen’s The Keepsake is the sixth book in the Rizzoli & Isles series. I have read each of the first six books in the series. While I have enjoyed all of them, The Keepsake is my new favorite.
