Personal Updates for May 27, 2019

Today is my birthday. It didn’t get off to the best start, because I was in the emergency room until 2:30. But we will be having a barbecue this afternoon.

A Year with Mr. Rogers

Thanks to work, I missed writing about Mr. Rogers’s anniversary yesterday. But I had to do this today. Given the cancer scare we recently had with the little guy, I feel so relieved to be celebrating a year with him and looking forward to several more.

Mr. Rogers Update

Mr. Rogers had his left eye removed yesterday. Going into the surgery, we were hopeful his long-term eye problem had become glaucoma and removing the eye would make him better. The vet believes there is an 80 percent chance Mr. Rogers has cancer.
