Ufi is Dying
Over the last two days, Ufi has taken a noticeable turn for the worse. There is no longer reason for hope that he is cancer-free. My heart is crushed.
Personal Updates for August 31, 2019
As I have been discussing, this has been a bad summer. So, let’s begin this personal update with some good news.
Goodbye Emma
It has taken me almost 56 hours to write that on Tuesday August 27th we lost our beloved Emma. As Mom said, Emma had the biggest heart of any dog. Our hearts are broken. Our sweetheart is gone. Our sweetheart will never be forgotten.
Update on me and Ufi
The update on me isn’t great. The update on Ufi is better.
Ufi Update
It has been 10 days since Ufi was diagnosed with cancer. We are hoping for a miracle, doing our best to help him enjoy life, and trying not to think about what we expect.
Playing Accessible Chase
One of Ufi’s favorite things to do is to have me chase him while has his ring. Eventually, he drops the ring and I throw it. We played chase for a few minutes. I didn’t think we would play again.
