The Godless Constitution: The Case Against Religious Correctness is an easy to read look into why the so-called founding fathers designed a secular society and how they achieved that goal. More interesting to most readers is the examination of Thomas Jefferson’s personal religious devotion coupled with his fervent dedication to the idea of a secular… Continue reading Reviewing The Godless Constitution

Talking About Impeaching Kavanaugh is Stupid
Even before Brett Kavanaugh was confirmed, many Democrats were talking about impeaching him. While I would have never voted to confirm Kavanaugh and while I do believe he could be impeached, talking about impeaching him is stupid. The Daughter Rule
As we wait for Kavanaugh and Dr. Ford to testify in front of the Senate’s Judiciary Committee, some Republicans are saying what happened decades ago shouldn’t impact the nomination. As the title of this post indicates, I have an idea as to the kind of conduct that should matter.
Personal Update September 23, 2018
In this personal update I discuss: Ufi’s adjusting to steroids My recovering from illness The best book I have recently read Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation process An important anniversary
An Idea for Brett Kavanaugh
Obviously, what I’m about to propose would never happen. Still, it would be great for America if it did. Brett Kavanaugh should announce he supports an FBI investigation into Dr. Ford’s allegation. He should also tell the Senate’s Judiciary Committee to subpoena all relevant witnesses.
