I Know a Secret is the 12th and so far final book in Tess Gerritsen’s Rizzoli & Isles series. I have now read all 12 books in the series. I Know a Secret left me hoping it’s not the last of the series.

Reviewing Muzzled
Muzzled seems to be the second book in Eileen Brady’s Kate Turner series. I read Muzzled because Kate is a vet and I love animals. I started with Muzzled because it was there and I didn’t know it was the second in the series. I enjoyed muzzled and am planning on reading the rest of… Continue reading Reviewing Muzzled
Reviewing Die Again
Die Again is the eleventh book in Tess Gerritsen’s Rizzoli & Isles series. I have read and enjoyed each of the first eleven books in the series, but Die Again was one of my favorite.
Reviewing Personal Injuries
Personal Injuries is another look at the legal system written by Scott Turow. After reading Personal Injuries, I discovered it was Time Magazine’s fiction book for the year of 1999. While I liked Personal Injuries, I can’t imagine thinking it was the best fiction book of an entire year.
Reviewing a Noise Downstairs
A Noise Downstairs is a thriller by Linwood Barclay. As a fan of Barclay’s writing, I was looking forward to A Noise Downstairs. While the ending wasn’t at all believable–especially since it wasn’t well explained–I really enjoyed the story.
Reviewing the Marching Season
The Marching Season is the second in Daniel Silva’s Michael Osbourne series. Even though I love a good spy novel, the Osbourne series isn’t doing it for me. The Marching Season was all right, but I don’t believe I’ll continue with the series.
Reviewing the Institute
The Institute is another thriller from Stephen King. The Institute was an exciting read. If you like Stephen King, you’ll like The Institute.
Reviewing a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood
A Beautiful day in the Neighborhood is the movie about Mr. Rogers’s relationship with a journalist who profiled him for an issue of Esquire in 1998. This movie, unlike the documentary Won’t you be my Neighbor, does not talk much about Mr. Rogers’s life or his show; instead, it focuses on his relationship with the… Continue reading Reviewing a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood
Reviewing True Flag
Stephen Kinzer’s True Flag: Theodore Roosevelt, Mark Twain, and the birth of American Empire is an important examination of another portion of American history too few Americans understand. Specifically, the book looks at the discussion of American imperialism that took place during and after the War of 1898. The book uses the experiences and words… Continue reading Reviewing True Flag
Reviewing Contagion
Robin Cook’s Contagion is the second of the Jack Stapleton & Lauri Montgomery series. As someone who likes medical mysteries, I’m enjoying the Stapleton & Montgomery series. I wish I started reading them years earlier.
